This large work composed of more than 600 pages written by Armando
besga Marroquin has become the first published historical monography
about the situation of the Basques during the Germanic kingdoms.
This has been a controversial issue due to the lack of documentary
sources and is the result of a laborious and in depth work of
analysis and contrast of materials and of the scarce existing
bibliography. This work has doubtless become a classic in the
Basque and Navarre historiographies.
The careful impression makes this work an authentic bibliographic
gem.
